QFT is taking a break in August and September

There will be no regular programme of evening screenings in August or September – apart from the children’s screenings and the Hindi Film listed in the current programme.

QFT moving back to new premises

We are pleased to announce that QFT will re-open in early October in the expanded and much-improved complex at No. 20 University Square. We look forward to providing a new and exciting programme when we re-open in October.

The construction work at the new complex will be completed by the end of September and the new QFT will include:

QFT1 – the original 240 seat auditorium refurbished with improved air-conditioning.
QFT2 - A brand new 110 seat purpose-built cinema.
Entrance through No. 20 University Square.
New box office and bar in large foyer and circulation area.

QFT will be sending further press information and invitations to an official press re-launch event in due course. Updates are posted on the QFT website.
